1  SAFILO NORTH AMERICA has appointed Gabriele Cusani Sodano as president and chief commercial officer. Additionally, Roberto Genovese has been appointed to vice president licensed brands, PR and communications, and customer marketing for North America.

2  THE MCGEE GROUP has renewed its licensing partnership with Ducks Unlimited. This latest extension, which will run through 2026, will mark the collaboration’s 20th anniversary.

3  CLEARVISION OPTICAL was recognized for the ninth time as one of the Best Companies to Work for in New York by the New York State Society for Human Resource Management (NYS-SHRM) and Best Companies Group.

4  MARCOLIN and K-Way have signed an exclusive licensing agreement for the design, production and worldwide distribution of K-Way brand sunglasses, optical frames, ski goggles and eyewear for kids. The partnership, officially beginning on Jan. 1, 2025, will run through Dec. 31, 2030.

9  MODERN OPTICAL INTERNATIONAL has been named one of the “2024 Best Places to Work in Illinois.”

10  SAFILO GROUP has signed a perpetual license agreement with Authentic Brands Group for David Beckham Eyewear, which substitutes the previous contract expiring at the end of 2030. Under the new agreement, Safilo will continue to oversee the entire value chain, including the design process creatively led by Beckham, through to its production and global distribution.
