1  SAFILO GROUP and Missoni have renewed their global licensing agreement for Missoni branded eyewear until the end of 2029.

2  EYEWEAR DESIGNS LTD. and its CEO and owner Andrea Gluck have achieved certification as a woman-owned business from the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council. This certification recognizes its commitment to diversity, inclusion and the advancement of women-owned businesses in today’s marketplace.

3  MARCOLIN and Skechers U.S.A. Inc. have announced the renewal of their licensing agreement for the design, production and worldwide distribution of Skechers sunglasses, eyeglasses and kids’ eyewear, further extending the partnership until Dec. 31, 2030.

4  HILCO VISION has announced a key new member of its executive leadership team. Thomas Strauch joins as Group CFO and brings extensive experience in the medical device industry.

5  J.F. REY has won an iF DESIGN AWARD for the JF3056 titanium model in the “Product” category.

6  TOM DAVIES has announced its partnership with Cherry Optical Lab for its Horn and Precious collections in the U.S.

7  THE UNITED OPTICIANS ASSOCIATION (UOA), established as a result of a merger of the Opticians Association of America and the National Federation of Opticianry Schools, has appointed James M. Morris, Esq. to the position of CEO.

8  EYEWEAR BY R.O.I. and Karen Kane have announced the extension of their eyewear licensing agreement through 2028. The original agreement was signed in 2007.

9  MARCOLIN has opened a new showroom in New York City on Madison Avenue. The new showroom, designed by Milan-based design studio Navone Associati, includes offices and a large space dedicated to Marcolin’s brands.
