Last month, I had the opportunity to fly to Milan for the must-see MIDO 2024 show. I’ve always been told you haven’t experienced a real eyewear trade show unless you’ve been to MIDO, and now I finally understand why. With over seven pavilions, 1,200 exhibitors and visitors from more than 130 different countries, the show was packed and the energy contagious. I searched through booth after booth looking for the most exciting new frame styles and was overwhelmed with countless amazing designs. Eyewear featuring bold colors and interesting shapes were everywhere I turned, as well as the most creative and knowledgeable people in the industry. I attended award ceremonies, designer presentations and even witnessed an artisan crafting a frame by hand. For more content of my favorite finds, check out 20/20's Instagram and our Peek video.
