Luxottica Group launches Tory Burch Eyewear, a lifestyle brand that embodies the personal style and spirit of its co-founder and creative director, Tory Burch. Targeted to modern women between the ages of 25 and 45, the eyewear line consists of ophthalmic frames and sunglasses. Shapes range from angular, contemporary styles to retro-inspired rounds and over-sized vintage models to aviators and a folding shield. Some frames are progressive-lens friendly. Signature design elements consist of graphic prints, leather temples and iconic logo treatments—single-, double and quadruple-“Ts” and the “TY.”
