Chaps Eyewear, a Ralph Lauren brand from the Luxottica Group, reflects timeless design combined with the American spirit of durability, comfort and style. Included are 17 men’s frames ranging from classic to vintage to modern and 11 women styles in both casual and sophisticated designs with such details as saddle bridges and wavy (sculpted) temples. Shapes are geometric variations on rectangles and ovals in monel, flat metal, titanium, stainless steel, zyl and metal/zyl combinations. Many frames are equipped with flex or spring hinges and adjustable nosepads.

Established in 1978, the Chaps’ brand does not carry the Ralph Lauren name, but it does reflect the company’s designer heritage, encompassing the lifestyle, spirit and feeling of Polo Ralph  Lauren into an accessible collection with broad appeal. Although the brand was originally created for men, a women’s collection was added last year.
