FRANKLIN LAKES, N.J.—The next edition of “The Power Hour,” the free weekly online radio talk show hosted by Gary Gerber, OD, founder of The Power Practice, a practice management company, will be broadcasting live from Vision Expo East on Saturday, March 16 at 2:30 p.m.

The show, which is regularly broadcasted every Wednesday evening at 9:00 p.m. E.T., will take advantage of the show atmosphere and be hosted from the Medical & Scientific Theater inside the Javits Center in New York.

According to Gerber, the Live “Power Hour” show will feature a discussion on practice transitioning with  Bob Schultz from Vision One Credit Union.  Gerber said, “Bob has been involved in the financing of hundreds of practice buy-sell deals and he'll discuss the ‘gotchas’ that can accompany them as well as ways to ensure both parties leave the table happy.”

Also joining this special episode, Gerber said, will be Howard Purcell, OD, vice president of Essilor, “who will be discussing how younger doctors can get into a viable healthy private practice sooner instead of later.”
