1  ALTAIR EYEWEAR and Authentic Brands Group have signed an exclusive eyewear licensing agreement for Spyder, which includes the exclusive design, development, production and distribution of ophthalmic eyewear, sunglasses and ski goggles.

2  KENMARK EYEWEAR has renewed its exclusive agreement for the development, production and worldwide distribution of eyewear for the Vera Wang brand, extending the agreement through 2025.

3  MYKITA’S optical style Elgard from the Mykita Lite collection has won a 2019 Red Dot Award in Product Design.

4  MARCHON EYEWEAR and Authentic Brands Group have announced the long-term renewals of the existing global eyewear licensing agreements for the Nautica and Nine West brands.

5  SAFILO GROUP has announced a joint venture agreement in South Korea with Parma International, an experienced local player active in the eyewear and sporting goods sectors, which will allow for the development of new distribution channels in the market together with marketing and digital communication services.

6  KIRK & KIRK has appointed MSK Eyewear to distribute its eyewear collections in France to a select number of independent practices. MSK Eyewear distributes brands in France including Matsuda, Marni and Blake Kuwahara.

7  ESSILOR SUN SOLUTION has partnered with SCICON, a leader in high performance bike bags and accessories, for the launch of a premium sunwear range.

8  SMITH has announced that Mark Phares has rejoined its team as the new vice president of global sales. Phares previously spent 17 years within the Smith organization in various sales and management roles, before serving as director of sales overseeing the Western U.S. at OluKai for the past four years.
