1  POLICE, the De Rigo Group’s lifestyle brand will be appearing in Sony Pictures’ “Men in Black: International” with style Origins 1 SPL872, created exclusively for the film.

2  MARCOLIN GROUP and Max Mara Fashion Group have signed an exclusive worldwide licensing agreement for the design, production and distribution of sunglass and eyeglass frames for women, under the Sportmax brand. The agreement is valid for five years through December 2023.

3  MAUI JIM has announced a multi-year partnership with professional football club Manchester United. Maui Jim will supply the Manchester United first team, Academy and women’s teams with glasses from their sunwear and optical ranges. They will also celebrate the partnership by launching a co-branded eyewear collection later this year.

4  GIGI BARCELONA is opening a U.S. subsidiary, hiring industry talent and setting up an experienced sales team.

5  CLASSIQUE EYEWEAR has reached an exclusive distribution agreement with Inspecs USA for the O’Neill and Superdry optical and sunwear collections to independent ECPs throughout the U.S.

6  MONDOTTICA INTERNATIONAL and Scotch & Soda have signed a license agreement for the design, production and distribution of the Scotch & Soda eyewear collections.

7  ZYLOWARE EYEWEAR has received the Westfair Communications Award for Family-Owned Business, which honors leaders who built businesses in Westchester and Fairfield counties and kept them in the community, as well as the family.

8  BARTON PERREIRA and luxury jewelry company Spinelli Kilcollin have announced a new sunglass collaboration debuting in April, consisting of two styles in a total of six colorways.

9  VSP GLOBAL has named Gordon Jennings, OD, as chairman of the board for a two-year term. Jennings has previously served as the vice chairman, has been in private practice in Wytheville, Va., for more than 30 years and has served on VSP Global’s board since 2010.
