Altair Eyewear launches JOE Eyewear under a licensing agreement with Joseph Abboud
Apparel Corp. Targeted to trendy, urban, educated men aged 22 to 35, the initial collection
includes six ophthalmic metal and plastic styles in a variety of sizes and colors. The metals
feature double-injected rubber and acetate flex temples for performance and style. Two of the
metals have milled fronts. One frame is semi-rimless. Colors range from cappuccino, denim
and licorice to acorn, graphite and olive moss. Line extensions are scheduled for early 2008.
