Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis is wearing the P711 style
created by Traction, a French company that began producing eyewear in 1927. She first purchased the sunglass in 1967 at Pierre Marly Opticians in Paris. In a recent interview, Mr. Marly says he believes she bought three of the sunglasses on her initial visit: one in black and two  in tortoise tones.
